Inter Rhône is proud to present the 6th edition of its biennial Découvertes en Vallée du Rhône event which gathers together both French and foreign wine merchants, sommeliers, wine import specialists, wholesaler, commercial agents, journalists and catering professionals. This year's event is split into 15 wine-tasting fairs, spread around the different Rhône Valley Terroirs over a 6 day period - March 1st to March 6th 2011.

| HARVEST TIME [08-09-2009] |
 harvest 2009 have beginning last week. Condrieu is finished. A good juice, with a lot of sugar.
This morning we pick the grapes on coteau de Viallière in Côte-Rôtie. Also very ripe grapes, black color, a lot of sugar. |

| HARVEST 2008 [27-10-2008] |
 For us it's now the end of season. Harvest 2008 is finished, the wine is in barrels. It was hard summer, with a lot of rain, many works with grass in the vineyard, and mildew. At the beginning of September, it continues to rain. Maturity was going very slowly. Fortunately, rain stop in the middle of September and we have beautiful weather for harvest. Grapes were not too good, but harvesters take time to choose each berry, and, at the end, in the vat all was good. Quantities are quite small, but fermentation gives us a well coloured wine, with good flavours, like vintage 2004. |

 Last week, Gilbert and Brigitte were in the USA, for visiting and testing. During this time, all things goes on in the vineyard. Elie, Bernard, Marie-france and Guillaume ended to prune. It will be finished next week. We also begin to plough. This year, we try do do with a horse in the Grandes-Places's vineyard. We hope it's better for the soil.

| Back to the vineyards [31-10-2007] |
 Harvest are finished now, vintage 2007 is in barrel. Malo-lactic start. We work again in the vineyard. As it's too early for pruning, we built stone-walls on our new slope, named "Montmain". This slope was deserted since 50 years, but was in the past well known as a good "terroir". We hope it will give good wines. First harvest in 2009 !!! |
